Miguel Ara˙jo
Miguel Ara˙jo is a senior researcher of the CSIC at the National Museum of Natural Sciences, where he leads the Biodiversity and Global Change Laboratory. His main interests include the investigation of processes affecting the occurrence and persistence of species at different spatial and temporal scales. He is also interested in the development of effective conservation planning tools to prevent local extinctions of species under climate change.

"It has been challenging to bring the socio-economic and biodiversity disciplines together, and I very much hope that RESPONSES will successfully manage to achieve such integration."
